Adjustable Handles from Morton Machine Works

Adjustable Clamping Levers, also known as Adjustable Handles are a simple and practical solution to common clamping applications. Adjustable Handles utilize internal gear teeth that are spring loaded. When the handle is lifted, the gear teeth disengage allowing for full 360 degree motion of the handle. Releasing the handle to the rest position engages the handle for normal clamping. They are the perfect solution for applications that require the handle to be positioned in a specific location. Adjustable handles also work great in confined areas that require a ratchet style clamping motion.

Morton began pursuing the ISO quality standards in the late 1990′s culminating in our initial ISO 9001:1994 certification on February 28, 2000. The certification was awarded by NSF-ISR of Ann-Arbor MI and the scope of the registration is as a manufacturer and desgner of tooling components, cutting tools, and industrial wire brushes. The current registration is in compliance with the ISO 9001:2008 standards.

Spherical Washer Sets

Spherical Washer Sets, also known as equalizing washers, are a great solution for assuring even clamping pressure on critical fastening applications. The top half of the washer set has a convex shape and a smaller ID. It mates with the bottom half that has a concave surface and a larger ID. This allows for a 3 to 4 degree angle adjustment for the bolt or fastening device. The washer sets are precision machined from 303 stainless steel and case-hardened carbon steel. Morton Machine Works manufactures over 3500 different tooling components.
